The Boys Bring Home the Bacon from Petaluma
The COB varsity team swept tthrough some good teams in the top high school division at the Grapevine Tourney in Petaluma in July re-taking their Grapevine title trophy taking down 101, Good Vibes, and Blackhawk in the process. Great play by all from very young rising freshmen through a few 22s on this very mixed team.
Our JV team also finished with only one loss and our young 12s competed mightily in each of their very close games.
Another great tourney for our Chauncey Boys family.

Success at PacLax!
Our boys went down to Temecula the last weekend in June to play in the Pacific Lacrosse Festival. The team was placed in the top varsity bracket despite going down there with a team with only a few seniors and 5, yes 5, 8th graders! We frankly hoped we would win just one game.
The boys were tested by some good teams - 2 So Cal Bulls teams (one seniors and one juniors), Mad Dog San Diego, and Trident. Our very young saplings emerged with a 3-2 record and one of those losses on a Braveheart tiebreaker we nearly won. Just...wow! Great future ahead for this group!
Next up...the Grapevine Classic in Petaluma. These boys are hungry for a championship!

Congrats to our Pac Lax Champs!!!
Congratulations to our high school open team who went to Temecula and took home the 2021 Gold in the Pacific Lacrosse Festival tournament in Temecula. While our northern California counterparts played down in the silver division, we challenged our kids to take the gold in the Gold division and that they did.
Great time with great kids and families coming together to play and celebrate this wonderful sport. Great job again COB!
Kudos to our High School teams
Shout outs to Los Gatos HS and Bellarmine College Prep for making it to the semi-finals on the first ever CCS lacrosse playoffs and to LGHS for winning the championship of the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League. All LGHS special award winners (i.e. MVP, Best Offense, Best Defense, Coaches Award, Spirit of the Stick Award) were COB players.
Coach Nespor Inducted to HOF
Congrats to COB varsity head coach, Chris Nespor, on being inducted to the Cal Poly Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Coach Nespor not only played for some incredibly successful CP teams, but coached them as well. Impressive! Proud to call Coach Nespor one of our own.
